Race for Global Water 5K
Move Your Feet for Clean Water.
The Race for Global Water 5K is more than a race—it’s a run for clean water access around the world. Held each August, this event raises funds for Water for People, a nonprofit dedicated to bringing sustainable water and sanitation solutions to developing communities.
What to Expect.
Participants of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to run, walk, or cheer. In addition to the race, the event includes family-friendly activities, educational booths, and opportunities to learn how your contribution supports global impact. Pets, walkers and children are encouraged to participate.
The race takes place on the Fairfield bike path through the woods and into Hamilton crossing over the wellfields that supply water to both communities. Along the path their is permanent educational signage that helps participants learn about the aquifer and the importance of its protection.
